July 2010 Blog

From Leslie
Emma and Noah finished 1st grade. We can't believe they are 2nd graders now! They both had a great year and
already miss their friends and teachers. Emma brought home a fish that she had been
raising in her class so Noah had to have one too. They are doing a great job of taking
care of them and keeping Mica, our cat, out of the aquariums. We
are staying busy this summer. We started it by swimming in a friend's pond. Emma and Noah loved catching the tiniest frogs we have ever seen, but Emma caught
more than she bargained for when what we thought was a slug on her finger turned out to be a leach. We joined a pool after that. We've kept ourselves busy swimming, visiting friends, going to the movies, going to the park and Natural Science Center. We are looking
forward to the week after the 4th
when mom's sisters and brother in law are coming for a visit. Emma and Noah are excited about practicing their German and learning some new words.

From Cale
Cale, Kathy and the kids spent two weeks in Florida this month. DISNEY
Take a look at their trip here: Cale and Maggie made a funny video too. You can see it by clicking here VIDEO

From Judy
Judy and Jim just finished putting hardwood floors down. They look wonderful.

From Bernice
Bill and Bernice have sold their house. Bill recently broke his collar bone.

From Roger
Lily has been having fun playing in her sand box, swimming and staying home with Daddy this summer.

Roger is feeling much better and we spend hours building the Great Wall of Pumpkin Center in our back yard this summer. Pictures to follow when we get it allplanted and grassed.

Watch her splash my sister-in-law Linda Setzer. Just click play arrow on the video to see it.

That's all the news I have. I am sure everyone is busy traveling and enjoying summer. Send me your news and photos for our August blog.
