February 2010 Goodson Family Blog

This month's blog will start out with Judy's family Christmas photos since I left them out last time.

Judy sends word that Jim has a new White 2010 Nissan Frontier Truck! He is really excited about his new toy. Maggie, Carson and Judy are making an owl and a bunny quilt. They hope to have them done before Maggie and Carson graduate!

The Goodson Compound Crowd enjoyed a fun snow party at Dale's and Pam's house during the big snow. We enjoyed good food and some serious Wii playing. Of course the kids had fun sledding, making a snowman and playing in the snow.

David sent the following information about his family along with some Christmas photos.
Nothing great here. Saw Brent at the Fight Night 2010 in Charlotte. You put on your tux, eat steak and watch boxing and mix martial arts. Tons of fun. Soccer is in full swing – This past weekend was Savannah, this weekend is Charlotte and the next is Atlanta. The boys travel about as much as Vonda. Does anyone use Twitter? I’d like to follow them if they are.

Chris Goodson has a new camera so he sent some snow photos of his family.

Erika is now on Facebook so I took the liberty of using some of her photos of their family at Christmas. She also sent this one of Wayne.
Winter is Too Long

This photo said "What happens when you try to take a picture of the boys!"

Here's some of Phillip's family in the snow.

Krista's family had fun in the snow too!

Bernice sends word that things are about the same with them. They are enjoying the new house and the fact that they don't have to go to the basement for some things. Funny how it did not make any difference 5 or 10 years ago but how things have changed. Bernice hopes the boys have sent some news as she is so very proud of all of them.

They have been getting some lookers at their old house. Pray that it will be a perfect place for one of them. They have about cleared all their "stuff" out of the old house. They will be glad when it is all behind them.
Here are some snow scenes that Bernice sent of the new house.

On a final note, Roger is having a terrible time with high blood pressure. We have made numerous trips to the doctor and two night trips to the emergency room. Meds don't seem to keep it in control. They are conducting some tests to see if they can find the problem.

Send me your family photos and news at any time during the month at kathygoodson@gmail.com
